Time to redefine VUCA in view of ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic!

The VUCA stand for Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity inherent in world around us. In order to be effective in such environment (VUCA) we have to redefine VUCA as Vision, Understanding, Clarity and Agility. The crystal-clear vision with inbuilt agility in our systems, structures, strategies, processes, and skill & style of people will empower leaders to build better understanding with clarity as to how to deal with the prevailing uncertain and ambiguous environment. On top of this, when there is no clarity and a lot of complexity, at times it is better to stop, sit calmly and think for a moment as to  what is more important and essential in a given situation, What is less bitter out of options available at hand, What worse can happen, Can it be avoided and how to deal with it if something worse happen? 

In trying time like ongoing COVID-19 pandemic what worse can happen in next moment? Are we prepared enough for the following? –

1. Your skills are no longer needed!

2. Your livelihood means are lost!

3. What you treasured so far in this world lost its value and everything is zero!

4. Your product and services as an

organization are no longer needed in the society!

5. You have no food to feed you & your family!

6.  Your love ones are no more alive!

7.  You are no more alive!

Is it not a biggest success during trying time of COVID-19 pandemic, if we as an individual and organization are alive and living with our near and dear one without much worry about as to from where the next meal is going to come? In my view, it could be a greatest underlying intrinsic motivational factor both for individual and organization across the globe paving way to do more for those who are not blessed enough and have to undergo one or two harsh realities as mentioned above.
